MacOS 10.5.6+ Screen Sharing with Windows RealVNC Host

using RealVNC on a Windows XP as Host/Server  caused Problems when connected with a Mac Screen Sharing Client (build-in screen-sharing.app).

Problem: when I press any key in some input form (e.g. editor), the VNC view client on the mac freezes.

solution: none found. Use tightVNC server instead. Works like a charm.
